Hi everyone, I just had the pleasure of stopping by TBR BOOKS in downtown O'Fallon They are right next to Woods Bakery and 1st street lounge. It is a very quaint and cozy location. Thank you, Tracy for giving me the guided tour. I plan to visit again. I will tell all my friends that are local authors about your new location. They have an rewards program and they do accept used books that are in excellent condition without tears, stains l, odors or marks. I am somewhat new to the community, and I was really happy to get a quick history lesson from Tracy. She shared with me that some of the books they carry are about and or by local celebrities / authors such as Josephine Baker and Maya Angelou. I was truly happy to see that they had a book written by one of my favorite actors, Vincent Price, who was also an esteemed poet and artist. Along with a book written by his daughter. There some amazing gift ideas locally made candles, scarfs and pottery. They also have beautiful postcards that were photographed here by a famous photographer 😉 Tracy will be happy to tell you all about that person. Please stop by even if it's just to say hello.

I had a great experience with this store and its staff. I accidentally left something at the register area, and the manager messaged me to let me know it was there. I am grateful since otherwise I would have lost my mind looking around to see where I put it. Though a little "cozy-sized" at the moment, the store had a good selection, and I was able to find several books (and stickers) I was interested in. My kid found a book right away in the kid's section. As I understand it, this store will be moving to a larger location down the street in early 2026, and they are already starting up book clubs and events. I highly recommend checking them out.

Such a cute store with great variety. Good section of kids books too! Wonderful and super helpful staff.
